In answer to Writing 201 ~ Poetry prompt Water.
The form: haiku
The device: simile

Like tumbling waters
Down a fall, she escapes him.
Teasing him, she laughs.

As water will flow
Through one’s fingers, Cedric left.
He loved her no more.
