#tuesdayuseitinasentence ~ Sanction

“They say Justice is blind; maybe, but those who apply it aren’t. They sanction the misdeeds of some most severely while giving sanction to the crimes of others without so much as blink. Money, fame and power seem not to care that Justice is supposed to be blind and justice equally applied to all.”
So she thought, as she left court that afternoon.

Nicely done. A tricky word to use but you pulled it off. And I love the last line – very strong

I liked the idea that it means one thing and its opposite in fact. That’s why I used that word 😉

  2. Good use of the word — I’m not sure that justice, unfortunately, has ever been blind or held her scales without putting a finger on one side or the other before weighing.
Now, I have to figure out what to say 🙂
