100 Book Challenge ~ Update

So I think I should stop deluding myself: I will not finish the Bible by October 19. I’m barely at the Leviticus at this time and I’m finding it hard even to read a few pages every day.

I think it’s fair to say I’ll have to move things around and give myself enough time to re-read the Bible cover to cover. That gives you a bit of an idea as to how challenging I’m finding the book. I’d forgotten how dreary the beginning of the Ancient Testament was. And I don’t want to rush through it; it’s interesting, tells a lot about how things were at the time but wow, the writing is dry sometimes and well… I’m a woman of the 20th century, there are things that just don’t settle well with my ideas. It’s enlightening anyways.

So right now I’m just wondering when I’ll be reviewing the Bible. I might keep it for the very end or just drop it at some point when I’m done with it. I don’t know… So here’s an updated schedule of my book reviews. I’ve also linked to the reviews I’ve already published.
