500 Followers Thank You

Well what a pleasant surprise! I woke up this morning to find that I have reached the 500 subscribers mark.

Today’s Thanksgiving in the USA and though it’s not a tradition I’ve ever really picked up during my decade in Canada, I still know that this particular Thanksgiving there’s a lot I should be thankful for because the year was tough health wise. But I’m still here, so that’s good. Some good things are ahead and you’ve added to it. I might say the cup is full.

This blog started mostly as a challenge for me to write every day and I didn’t really expect to gather an audience. Mostly it was a way for me to be accountable and ensure I did actually scribble down something on a daily basis.

And now people actually read, comment and like. That’s amazing.

Thank you also because I’ve come to realize that without an audience I might not have taken the habit but finding people who actually enjoy what I write or at least enough to like or comment is a great confidence booster.

So thank you again.
